We were not surprised when Google did not include Facebook syncing with their new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. I mean, why would they, if they have their own social network (Google+) now? Unfortunately, many Android users have grown reliant on the Facebook sync feature with regards to building their Address book and it does at some level suck that the feature would be taken away in ICS handsets.
However, if you don’t mind rooting your ICS device, then you probably want to try MoDaCo ROM as it effectively restores the Facebook sync feature you’ve always loved. Although the feature comes with the paid version only.
I’m sure Facebook and Google would somehow come to an agreement with regards to this, but if you’re the type who would like to flash a lot of ROMs anyway, then I think this worth a few bucks.

Microsoft, in order to maybe boost their Marketplace app catalog, have decided to take a little lesser cut from developers’ profits. According to the announcement, Microsoft has reduced the sales revenue cut to 30 percent. In addition to this, if an app reached the $25,000 mark, Microsoft will reduce their cut further to 20 percent.
This will definitely encourage developers to make more apps for the OS as they could score more profits in the long run apart from other mobile operating systems.

While some have reported minor complains for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, it is still hard not to recognize it’s impressive capabilities. The Galaxy Nexus came with NFC support, a rocking processor, a kickass back camera and most of all, it is the first phone to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Now, new reports state that even it’s front facing camera is so awesome that it could record 720p HD videos. I am no fan of video chatting but I think it would still come in handy for those that long for a better video calling quality.

It’s confirmed, if you live in Indonesia and you’ve been wanting a taste of BlackBerry, then why not wait for the BlackBerry Bold 9790 as it is coming to you on November 25. The BlackBerry 9790 features a 2.4 inch display with a pixel resolution of 640 x 480 and will be running OS 7.
Storage will come in the form of an 8 GB internal memory and will be sporting NFC technology. Why Indonesia you ask? Well, from what I heard, the country is one of RIM’s biggest customers and it just makes sense for the company to bring their best to those who really want them.

If you live in the wonderful country of The UK, then here’s another reason to feel lucky as the well proclaimed HTC Sensation XL is now available from two of your leading network operators. Now, you can catch the HTC Sensation XL from Three UK and Vodafone with both for free when you sign up with their preferred contracts.
Three UK is offering the phone with a two-year contract of 34 GBP/month plan while the Big Red is offering the phone with a two-year plan of 41 GBP a month. Sounds reasonable to me.
You can catch the phone’s full specifications from HTC or from the two networks’ websites.

As October is approaching, we are hearing more and more rumors and leaks about the iPhone 5 and the possible iPhone 4 S that was announced for this mont. Now, we know for sure that Apple is launching the iPhone 5 that month but very limited information is known about the iPhone 4S which is rumored to be a cheaper variant.
Now, a screen shot of what appears to be AT&T’s inventory system points to an “iPhone 4 S White” being included in the network’s listing of Apple products. However, this has not been confirmed yet and this might easily be a hoax as much as it being true so there’s no other way but to wait for an actual announcement from Apple.
