OpenFeint comes to the China mobile gaming industry with the help of The9

mozoot.openfeint

OpenFeint will test its capabilities with the Chinese mobile gaming industry as it offers its services to the country. This is made possible with OpenFeint’s partnership with the online gaming operator The9. The result is the newly established mobile gaming platform named The9 Game Zone which will offer distribution channels for mobile game developers looking to tap the Chinese gaming market.
The9 Limited is a well known provider of social networking  services as well as online games in the country and is more than capable of handling OpenFeint’s agenda.

This is not the first joint move by both companies as just last month, they have offered funding for gaming developers to move their games from iOS to Android in the amount of $100 million.

College student earns a fortune just by jailbreaking iPhones

A college student from George Mason University named Kevin Lee started out by helping a few friends jailbreak their iPhones. As for the average user, jailbreaking and unlocking their iPhones can prove to be a complicated process.

Kevin Lee started out on Craigslist and started out servicing 5 to 10 customers a week which soon climbed to 30-40 customers. Because of this, Lee earned a total of $50,000 last year alone!

I wonder how the government will react to this story as Kevin Lee appears to be making more than an average worker and is not being taxed.
